Refund & Returns Policy

At Rndtides, product quality, customer service, and your satisfaction are central to everything we do. Because our products are intended strictly for laboratory and research use, we maintain strict handling and quality standards that affect how refunds and returns are handled.

Refunds & Returns Overview

Rndtides sells research-use compounds through https://rndtides.com. Due to the sensitive nature of our products and our commitment to quality control, we generally do not accept returns once an order has shipped.

We do, however, stand behind every order we fulfill. If your shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect through no fault of your own, we will investigate promptly and work toward a fair resolution — typically a replacement at no additional product cost when eligibility is confirmed.

All Rndtides products are sold for research purposes only. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, diagnostic use, or therapeutic application. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms.

Non-Returnable Products

For health, safety, and quality assurance reasons, the following items and situations are not eligible for return:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or removed from their original sealed packaging
  • Orders that were correctly fulfilled according to the items and quantities listed on your invoice
  • Products purchased in error due to customer misselection, including incorrect product, size, or quantity chosen at checkout
  • Items that have been stored, handled, or transported outside of recommended conditions after delivery
  • Orders where delivery was completed successfully to the address provided at checkout

Because research materials cannot be restocked once their integrity may have been compromised, we are unable to accept returns for change-of-mind or buyer’s remorse.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives with damaged items, missing products, or contents that do not match your purchase confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. We take fulfillment accuracy seriously and will review every reported discrepancy.

When a valid issue is confirmed, Rndtides will arrange a replacement for the affected items at no additional product charge. In cases where a replacement cannot be fulfilled, an alternative resolution — such as a refund for the affected portion of your order — may be offered at our discretion.

Issues caused by carrier mishandling, warehouse packing errors, or incorrect item selection on our end are handled under this section and are not the customer’s financial responsibility once verified.

Replacement Eligibility

Replacements may be approved when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The issue is reported within the timeframe specified in the Reporting Delivery Issues section below
  • The order number, shipping details, and a clear description of the problem are provided
  • Supporting documentation — such as photos of damaged outer packaging, shipping labels, and affected products — is submitted when requested
  • The products remain in their original, unopened condition unless damage occurred during transit
  • The claim relates to verified carrier loss, shipping damage, a packing error, or an incorrect item shipped by Rndtides

Replacement shipments are sent to the original delivery address unless otherwise agreed in writing with our support team. Expedited reshipment may be available depending on product availability and carrier service levels.

Reporting Delivery Issues

To help us resolve your concern quickly, please report delivery issues within 48 hours of the carrier’s marked delivery date, or within 48 hours of receiving a visibly damaged package.

Email support@rndtides.com with the following information:

  • Your full name and order number
  • The email address used at checkout
  • A description of the issue (damaged, missing, incorrect, or undelivered)
  • Photos of the shipping label, outer packaging, and any affected products
  • Carrier tracking information, if available

Our team will acknowledge your message and begin an investigation. Resolution timelines may vary depending on carrier response times and the nature of the claim, but we aim to respond to all inquiries promptly and professionally.

Order Cancellations

You may request cancellation of your order only if it has not yet shipped. To cancel, email support@rndtides.com as soon as possible after placing your order and include your order number.

Cancellation requests are processed in the order received. If your order has already entered fulfillment or has been handed to a carrier, cancellation is no longer possible and the order will proceed to delivery.

Approved cancellations are refunded to the original payment method. Please allow standard processing time for your financial institution to reflect the credit.

Refund Review Process

When a refund is under consideration, our support team will review your claim against this policy and the details of your order. The review typically includes:

  • Verification of order and payment records
  • Review of submitted photos, tracking data, and correspondence
  • Coordination with the shipping carrier when a loss or transit damage claim is involved
  • Confirmation that the reported issue falls within an approved refund or replacement category

You will be notified by email once a decision has been made. If additional information is needed, we will contact you before finalizing the outcome. Rndtides reserves the right to decline requests that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.

Approved Refund Situations

Refunds to the original payment method may be issued in the following circumstances, subject to verification:

  • An order cancellation approved before shipment
  • A duplicate charge or billing error confirmed on our end
  • A verified carrier loss where replacement is not feasible or preferred by the customer
  • An order that cannot be replaced due to inventory unavailability after a confirmed fulfillment error
  • Other exceptional situations reviewed and approved by Rndtides management on a case-by-case basis

Partial refunds may be issued when only a portion of an order is affected. Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the issue resulted from a Rndtides fulfillment or shipping error.

Exclusions & Limitations

The following situations are not covered under this policy:

  • Delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances outside Rndtides’ control
  • Failed or returned deliveries due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer
  • Products that degrade after delivery due to improper storage or handling by the recipient
  • Claims submitted after the reporting window described above
  • Orders placed in violation of applicable laws or Rndtides terms of sale
  • International orders where import restrictions, customs seizure, or local regulations prevent delivery

Rndtides is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect costs arising from shipping delays or product unavailability beyond the value of the affected order.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth resolution process, customers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate shipping, billing, and contact information at checkout
  • Confirm that purchased products are intended for legitimate research use and comply with all applicable regulations
  • Inspect packages promptly upon delivery and report issues within the required timeframe
  • Retain original packaging and products until a claim is resolved, when safe and feasible to do so
  • Cooperate with carrier investigations when a loss or damage claim requires recipient confirmation
  • Respond to follow-up requests from our support team in a timely manner

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect eligibility for a replacement or refund.
